Machines for assembling caps with gaskets
These machines assemble products, such as lids(plugs, caps, etc.) with inserts inside. Covers and inserts come to assembly separately. When operation is in progress, liner is inserted into the cover.
Machines for assembling are used in the mass production of packaging components(lids, caps, plugs).
Liners are cut from sheets or rolls of special material. They have a shape of a circle or ring. Usually used materials:
- foamed polymer(usually PE, PP);
- cardboard(with or without lamination);
- separable or inseparable material for induction sealing;
- rubber or silicone.
Feeding and orientation processes of caps with diameter up to 55mm are usually carried out by vibrating hopper or rotational orientator. But considering that for optimal work bowl of vibrating hopper cannot be filled to the brim and rotational orientators are not used for accumulating details, pre-hopper may be used to increase amount of caps loaded into machine.
Orientation and feeding of caps with diameter from 40mm and more should be carried out by orientating elevator. In this case it has the same purpose as the pre-hopper.
